Apple TV+ will expand its award-winning original series lineup with “Lucky”, a new limited drama set to star Golden Globe Award winner, SAG Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Menu”, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”), who will also serve as executive producer.
“Lucky” is based on the New York Times bestselling novel and Reese’s Book Club pick of the same name by Marissa Stapley.
Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.

Hailing from Apple Studios, “Lucky” will be co-showrun, written and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (upcoming “Your Friends & Neighbors,” “See”) through his Tropper Ink banner and under his overall deal with Apple TV+, alongside Cassie Pappas (“Silo”, “Griselda”). The series will be executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media. Taylor-Joy will executive produce through her production banner, LadyKiller.
“Lucky” is the latest collaboration between Apple TV+ and Hello Sunshine, adding to a lineup that includes the Emmy Award-winning series “The Morning Show”, which just wrapped production on its fourth season; the hit series “The Last Thing He Told Me,” which recently began production on its second season; and “Surface,” set to release its second season in 2025..
Por su parte Taylor-Joy tiene pendiente el estreno en 2025 de su primera colaboración con Apple: La película anteriormente conocida 'La inmensidad', cuya título definitivo en español parece que será 'El abismo secreto'. Dirigida por Scott Derrickson, a continuación tenéis la sinopsis oficial y las primeras imágenes de esta superproducción de Skydance que se estrenará directamente en Apple TV+.
Dos agentes bien cualificados (Miles Teller y Anya Taylor-Joy) reciben la misión de ocupar posiciones en un gran desfiladero de alto secreto que protege el mundo de la maldad desconocida y misteriosa que habita en su interior. Un vínculo los une en su alejada vigilancia de un enemigo invisible.
